How many scores do I need to establish a handicap?
You need a minimum of 54 holes to establish an initial handicap index. This can be three 18-hole rounds or any combination of 9-hole and 18-hole rounds that total 54 holes. Once you have 20 scores, your handicap will be based on the best 8 of your most recent 20 score differentials.
What's the difference between Course Handicap and Handicap Index?

How often is my handicap index updated?
